1. Scope

This policy expands on Section 5 of our Terms of Service, which forms part of your agreement with us. Nothing here is intended to change that section. If any statement on this page is ever read as conflicting with the Terms, the Terms govern.

Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under laws that cannot be contracted out of, including consumer protection law where it applies to you.

2. How to Cancel

You can cancel at any time, yourself, without contacting us. Go to Settings → Billing in your workspace and cancel your subscription there.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep full access until that date — cancelling does not cut off the time you have already paid for. We do not charge you again after that.

If you pay in Indian Rupees, your subscription is handled by Razorpay, which does not provide a hosted billing portal. Cancellation for those subscriptions happens in the app, in the same place, and cancelling also ends the UPI AutoPay mandate so no further debit is attempted.

Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.

3. Your Free Trial

Every plan includes a free trial — 14 days on our Starter, Growth and Business plans and 30 days on Enterprise and Agency. The exact length for each plan is shown on our Pricing page, and that page is authoritative if this one is ever out of date. The trial is the period in which to decide whether ViralSocialOps is right for you, and it is the reason the refund position below is what it is.

You are not charged during the trial. If you cancel before it ends, you are never charged at all. We would rather you use the trial properly than pay for a month you did not want, so if you need longer to evaluate, ask us— we would rather extend a trial than take money you did not mean to spend.

4. Our Refund Position

Except where required by applicable law, or in the circumstances in Section 5 below, fees already paid are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods. This is the same position stated in Section 5 of the Terms.

We are stating it plainly rather than burying it: if you cancel in the middle of a paid month, you keep access until the end of that month, and we do not refund the unused part.

5. When We Do Issue a Refund

We will refund you in the following cases:

  • A duplicate or erroneous charge. If you were billed twice for the same period, or billed an amount that does not match the plan you selected, we refund the difference in full.
  • A charge after you cancelled. If a payment was taken after a valid cancellation took effect, we refund it in full.
  • A service failure we cannot put right. If the service was materially unavailable or unusable for a sustained period within a billing month and we could not remedy it, we will issue a refund or credit for that period.
  • Anything the law requires. This includes rights of withdrawal or cancellation available to consumers under the law of your country — for example under European Union consumer protection law, or under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 in India — where those rights apply to you.

Beyond these, we may still issue a refund or credit at our discretion where the circumstances warrant it. Ask; we would rather hear from you.

6. How to Request a Refund

Email support@viralsocialops.com or message us on WhatsApp at +91 76809 22923. Please include:

  • the email address on your ViralSocialOps account;
  • the date and amount of the charge; and
  • a short description of what went wrong.

We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and tell you our decision within 7 business days of receiving the information above. If we need something else from you to decide, we will ask for it within the same 2 business days rather than waiting.

7. How an Approved Refund Is Paid

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method used for the charge. We cannot redirect a refund to a different card, account, or person.

We issue the refund to our payment provider within 5–7 business daysof approving it. How long it then takes to appear on your statement is set by your bank or card issuer and is outside our control — typically a further few business days, and occasionally up to a full billing cycle.

8. Currency

Refunds are issued in the same currency you were charged in. Card payments in US Dollars are processed by Stripe. Payments in Indian Rupees are processed by Razorpay. We do not convert a refund into a different currency, so exchange-rate movement between the charge and the refund is not something we can adjust for.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. The version that applies to any charge is the version published on this page at the time that charge was made, and the effective date at the top of this page tells you which that is.
