1. Scope

This Policy covers the information the Service collects through your account, your workspace configuration, your connected social media accounts, and your use of viralsocialops.com. It does not cover third-party websites or platforms you may link to or connect with, which have their own privacy policies.

2. Data Controller

The data controller responsible for your information is Anantham Krithrimam Technologies (OPC) Private Limited, registered office at #9-5-77, Charbowli Road, Girmajipet, Warangal, Telangana 506002, India (CIN: U62011TS2026OPC209695).

3. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information: the email address and password you provide when signing up (or, if you use Google Sign-In, the basic profile information Google provides), and an optional company name.
  • Workspace/brand configuration: information you provide about your business to guide AI content generation, such as brand name, industry, target audience, geography, brand voice, and content topics.
  • Connected platform credentials: when you connect a social media account (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, YouTube, Pinterest, or Threads), we store the access token that platform issues so we can publish approved content on your behalf. These tokens are encrypted at rest and are never visible to us in plain text.
  • Generated and published content: the captions, hashtags, and images the Service creates or that you upload, and their approval/publishing status.
  • Billing information:your name and email are shared with our payment processor, Stripe, to create a billing profile. We never receive or store your full card number — Stripe handles that directly.
  • Technical and log information: IP address, browser type, and similar technical data generated by your use of the Service, used for security and reliability purposes.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including generating and publishing content you approve (performance of our contract with you);
  • process payments and manage your subscription (performance of our contract with you);
  • send transactional communications, such as billing receipts, trial reminders, and security notices (performance of our contract with you, or our legitimate interest in keeping you informed);
  • maintain security, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms of Service (our legitimate interest); and
  • comply with legal obligations, such as tax and accounting record-keeping (legal obligation).

5. AI Processing

To generate content, we send your workspace/brand configuration (such as brand name, industry, target audience, and content topics) and the specific topic being drafted to third-party AI providers (currently OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google, for text and image generation). We do not send your personal account information (such as your email or password), your billing information, or any third-party individual’s personal data to these providers as part of this process.

6. Who We Share Information With

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with the following categories of service providers, each acting on our instructions and solely to help us operate the Service:

  • Stripe — payment processing and billing.
  • OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google (Gemini) — AI text and image generation, as described in Section 5.
  • Cloudinary — storage and delivery of generated images.
  • Postmark — delivery of transactional emails (such as receipts and account notices).
  • Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, YouTube, Pinterest, and Threads — publishing content to the accounts you connect, and retrieving aggregate performance metrics (such as impressions and engagement counts) for posts you publish.
  • Google Sign-In — optional sign-in using your Google account, limited to basic profile verification.
  • Sentry — error monitoring, configured to exclude personal data from error reports.
  • Our hosting provider — infrastructure to run the Service.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ViralSocialOps, our users, or others.

7. Cookies and Local Storage

Our web application uses browser storage necessary to keep you signed in. We do not currently use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. If we enable a product analytics tool (such as Mixpanel or PostHog) in the future to understand feature usage, we will update this Policy accordingly before doing so.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account and workspace data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion (see our Data Deletion Instructions), we remove your data from our production systems within 30 days of a verified request. Certain records, such as billing and audit logs, may be retained for longer where required by tax, accounting, or other legal obligations, after which they are deleted.

9. Data Security

We encrypt connected-platform access tokens at rest, use encrypted connections (TLS) for data in transit, and isolate each customer’s data using tenant-level access controls at the database layer. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International Data Transfers

Our infrastructure is hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). Some of our service providers listed in Section 6 may process data in other countries, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for these transfers.

11. Your Rights

Regardless of where you are located, you may ask us to:

  • confirm what personal information we hold about you and provide a copy of it;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • delete your information, subject to the retention exceptions in Section 8; and
  • object to, or ask us to restrict, certain processing.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@viralsocialops.com or see our Data Deletion Instructions page. If you are in the European Economic Area, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

12. Children’s Privacy

The Service is intended for business use by adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you (for example, by email or an in-product notice) before the changes take effect.
